Day 3, Boca to Tequesta (and beyond)

The team was blessed again with another day of near perfect weather, the Run team took advantage and completed some extra miles. Jim and Chuck carried us through at the end by climbing the hills leading into Hobe Sound. We said a temporary goodbye to Brandon who left us to get back to school (Mom would only allow Brandon to have 1 "sick" day). Again, only one runner was lost today, Jim was "missing" for only a short time but he also learned a valuable lesson not to follow Brad's directions when running through Palm Beach. We also made a big improvement this year by not getting the van stuck in the sand. |
